Q: What animal would you be and why?
If I could be an animal, I would choose to be a human being in its natural habitat. Because I often wonder how life would be, and how we would think and live if we would still live like 'animals'. Don't ask me why, but this is just something I think about quite often.
Q: What event has impacted you most in your life?
I think I experience such impactful events every 4-5 years in my life, for instance being homeless or moving to London.
Q: If you could have any skill in the world, what would it be?
I would go for being able to concentrate or focus, even when I paint I'm not able to concentrate for long.
Bo Bosk is a 27 year old artist from Amsterdam, who primarily paints intimate portraits of friends and real-life scenes in oil paint.
Growing up Bo was very much influenced by graffiti, and after joining the Media College and dropping out, he was homeless for a period of time. He would sleep at friends, storage rooms and sometimes on the Amsterdam streets looking to survive. Around that time he started to experiment with materials he encountered in storage spaces, and started making art with spray paint and markers.
Since 2014 Bo has worked with paint, starting with acrylics and slowly moving to oil paint, inspired by his fellow artist friend Noah Lamp.
After shows in London and Los Angeles, he decided to move to London, where he is currently based.
