Niké Dolman
Q: What is the most valuable thing you own?
My camera is (very cliché for a photographer) the most valuable thing I own. And also my hard disks with all my photos on it. And also my Vitamix blender, which has skyrocketed my kitchen/smoothie skills.
Q: What is the best advice you’ve ever gotten?
Best advice is: go vegan!
Q: Would you want to know the future? Why/why not?
I am curious about the future, but I don’t want to know yet what it will be like. I think it will be either terrifying or glorious, and if you know what will happen in the future, you can not enjoy daily life anymore.
Niké Dolman (27) is fascinated by the relationship between man and nature, climate change, and the footprint we are leaving behind on our planet. She has produced a free translation of the Paris Climate Agreement, which contains photos taken by Dolman that relate directly or indirectly to the rules in this Agreement. Dolman’s work is characterized by abstract, colorful and poetic imagery. She constantly strives to envision the relation between mankind and its surroundings, both in nature or in man-made environments.
